Banana flapjacks

Servings: Makes 10

Ingredients

  • 75g low fat margarine

  • 1 tablespoon of honey

  • 25g soft brown sugar

  • 1 large banana (mashed)

  • 200g porridge oats

  • 100g sultanas

Method

  • Preheat oven to 180° / Gas Mark 4

  • Place the margarine, honey and sugar in a pan and heat gently until sugar has dissolved

  • Remove from the heat and stir in the banana, oats, and sultanas - mix thoroughly

  • Press into a lightly greased small baking tin

  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown

  • Leave to cool completely before removing from the tin
