Eggy bread

Ingredients

  • 1 medium egg

  • 1 tablespoon of full-fat milk

  • 2 small slices of bread

  • 1 teaspoon of oil

Method

  • Put the egg and milk in a mixing bowl and whisk together using either a fork or a whisk

  • Put the oil in the frying pan and place on a medium heat - dip the bread slices into the egg mixture then into the hot frying pan

  • Cook for two minutes on each side until golden and the egg is cooked through - repeat with the remaining bread and serve immediately
