Janice and Bethany give us their feedback on Healthy4Life
Janice and daughter Bethany, 7, attended the Healthy4Life programme towards the end of 2021.
With the first programme of 2022 starting in mid-January, we thought it would be helpful to find out what they thought for any families in North Tyneside who may be interested in how the programme can help them make healthier choices this year.
What do you enjoy about Healthy4Life?
Bethany: I enjoy doing exercise, like dodgeball, and learning about new foods.
How have the sessions made you feel?
Bethany: I feel better about myself and feel healthier. I’m starting to remember which foods are healthy and which are unhealthy.
What have you learnt on the programme so far?
Bethany: We did a lesson about sugar and I learnt how many sugar cubes are in different foods and drinks.
Janice: I am able to use the knowledge from the Helathy4Life sessions and take it home to share with the rest of our family.
